Perry and Deeds are brothers that brighten our days! They look like identical twins, but have very different personalities. Perry loves to take over a human lap and be loved on all day while Deeds loves to run and play with his friends.

What’s your dog’s name, gender, age, breed?

Perry and Deeds are American Brittanys. Perry is 2 1/2 and Deeds is 11 months.

How were you and your pups united?

We found Perry from a family in Middletown that owned and bred his parents, Ruger and Paisley. We fell in love with Perry and the breed that when they had a second litter, we brought home Deeds.

How did Perry and Deeds get their name?  Any aliases?

“Commodore” Perry and “Colonel” Deeds are both nods to Ohio history. Perry, “Pere Pere,” and “Pup Pup” and Deeds, “Deedles,” and “Little Butt”

Cat, postman, squirrel…?

Perry and Deeds live with 2 cats that they call their best friends (although the cats have different opinions). True to breed, in the backyard they love birdwatching.

Ball, squeaky-toy, stick…?

Perry loves to chase balls and Deeds loves to chase Perry and wrestle.

If they could have a human job what would it be?

Perry is a community ambassador and greets all neighbors, dog and human, on walks. He hopes one day to be the Mayor of Dayton.  Deeds is just old enough to have a job and is exploring his options.  This summer he worked the concession stand at the pool and hopes to lifeguard next summer.
